(00:40.2 - 00:42.0)
Hey, everyone, and welcome back to
(00:42.0 - 00:43.9)
Queens On A Roll podcast.
(00:44.0 - 00:45.8)
This is Latavia here.
(00:45.9 - 00:48.5)
And of course, guess who I have back with me? Luis
(00:49.6 - 00:50.3)
Hello.
(00:50.4 - 00:52.4)
Glad to be back. Yes.
(00:52.6 - 00:54.6)
So Okay, today we're going to talk about
(00:54.7 - 00:58.1)
our hobbies and just miscellaneous stuff.
(00:58.2 - 01:00.0)
So you ready, Luis? I'm ready.
(01:00.1 - 01:01.6)
All right, let's roll.
(01:02.0 - 01:28.0)
(Instrumental Music)
(01:28.1 - 01:32.2)
So it's time for current events (Sound effect).
(01:32.2 - 01:34.9)
All right, so, Luis, did you hear that
(01:35.0 - 01:38.5)
by 2055, they're going to make 95% of
(01:38.5 - 01:41.8)
the New York City subway accessible? I did.
(01:41.9 - 01:42.9)
I heard that today.
(01:43.0 - 01:44.2)
I found that out today.
(01:44.8 - 01:46.4)
Why is it taking so long?
(01:46.6 - 01:48.5)
That was my initial thing.
(01:48.7 - 01:50.6)
Why is it going to take so long?
(01:50.7 - 01:52.4)
But here's the details, right?
(01:52.4 - 01:57.0)
So by 2025, they're going to do
(01:57.0 - 02:01.6)
about 80% of the Staten Island railroads.
(02:01.7 - 02:03.3)
So they're doing it in increments.
(02:03.4 - 02:05.3)
They're splitting it up so that by
(02:05.3 - 02:09.2)
2055, 95% of it will be done.
(02:09.3 - 02:14.1)
My thing is this all came out of a lawsuit, right.
(02:14.2 - 02:17.3)
But 15% of the money that they
(02:17.4 - 02:19.9)
get in their budget yearly goes to
(02:20.0 - 02:23.3)
disability accommodations and repairs and stuff.
(02:23.4 - 02:25.1)
So where is that money going?
(02:25.5 - 02:27.5)
Why couldn't we do this sooner?
(02:27.7 - 02:29.7)
Why is it going to take this long?
(02:29.8 - 02:31.3)
I have my theories.
(02:31.4 - 02:35.9)
I think it's because you know in the ADA it says that
(02:36.0 - 02:42.6)
any public facility built after 1993 has to be accessible.
(02:42.7 - 02:45.5)
So because most of the subway was built before
(02:45.6 - 02:49.7)
then, they don't really have to make the modifications.
(02:49.9 - 02:54.4)
So I think that's why the timeline is soooooo long.
(02:54.6 - 02:57.2)
But that's just my opinion. Oh, wow.
(02:57.3 - 02:59.5)
I honestly had no idea about that rule.
(02:59.5 - 03:00.8)
I just think it's ridiculous.
(03:00.9 - 03:03.6)
We live in the 21st century, and
(03:03.8 - 03:05.4)
it should have been done sooner.
(03:05.6 - 03:06.7)
I mean, I'm kind of glad
(03:06.8 - 03:08.9)
that it's getting done, but still.
(03:09.0 - 03:12.1)
Yeah, I didn't know about that rule, but it
(03:12.1 - 03:14.7)
seems like they're definitely taking advantage of that.
(03:14.8 - 03:16.4)
But every year I'm like, why
(03:16.5 - 03:18.5)
isn't everything wheelchair accessible already?
(03:18.6 - 03:21.8)
I was like this in 2020, 2021, 2022.
(03:21.9 - 03:24.1)
Why isn't there elevators everywhere?
(03:24.1 - 03:26.1)
Why isn't everything wheelchair accessible already?
(03:26.2 - 03:27.2)
I have no idea.
(03:27.3 - 03:29.7)
I sometimes feel like we're forgotten. Yeah.
(03:29.7 - 03:31.5)
Only 15% of that budget
(03:31.6 - 03:33.6)
is for the disability community.
(03:33.8 - 03:36.2)
Yeah, only 15%. Wow.
(03:36.4 - 03:39.5)
I definitely feel like sometimes we are forgotten
(03:39.6 - 03:41.8)
and we're not thought about in conversations.
(03:41.9 - 03:43.9)
I think that's part of the problem.
(03:44.0 - 03:47.1)
2055, I'll be, like, 70 something.
(03:47.3 - 03:48.7)
Don't give them your age.
(03:48.9 - 03:50.5)
I'll be right up there with you.
(03:50.6 - 03:51.6)
How old will I be?
(03:51.7 - 03:54.4)
Probably old. Not that old. Okay.
(03:54.4 - 03:55.8)
I'll still be in my prime.
(03:55.9 - 03:57.1)
I'll get to enjoy it.
(03:57.1 - 03:59.8)
But I still think it is way too long.
(03:59.9 - 04:04.4)
Yeah, way, way, way, way, way past due.
(04:04.6 - 04:06.4)
So what do you think about New
(04:06.5 - 04:08.6)
York becoming an open carry state?
(04:08.7 - 04:11.1)
That is absolutely ridiculous.
(04:11.3 - 04:13.7)
You would think they go the complete opposite
(04:13.8 - 04:16.5)
way with all these current events of shootings
(04:16.7 - 04:21.1)
in supermarkets, churches, schools, and now they're allowing
(04:21.2 - 04:22.5)
more guns on the streets.
(04:22.6 - 04:25.6)
Yeah, I think it's really insane, and it's really crazy
(04:25.7 - 04:28.5)
because especially in New York, city crime is up.
(04:28.5 - 04:31.4)
So I don't think that's gonna be a good combination.
(04:31.5 - 04:34.5)
We need to start sharing our current events episode
(04:34.5 - 04:36.7)
because I don't think state officials heard it.
(04:36.8 - 04:38.2)
Because I need to know what am
(04:38.2 - 04:40.8)
I supposed to do in that situation. Exactly.
(04:41.0 - 04:43.4)
Like you said, disabled community is pretty much
(04:43.5 - 04:46.6)
forgotten and somebody needs to get in these
(04:46.7 - 04:49.9)
politicians ears and something needs to be done.
(04:50.1 - 04:53.0)
What happens today with the new laws is ridiculous.
(04:53.2 - 04:54.4)
It definitely is.
(04:54.4 - 04:57.7)
I think we should have Supreme Court limits.
(04:57.9 - 05:00.4)
You should not be able to be on there for a lifetime.
(05:00.5 - 05:04.1)
You need to get off and let somebody else go on.
(05:04.1 - 05:05.9)
I also think the court is like too
(05:05.9 - 05:08.4)
conservative too all the way to the right.
(05:08.6 - 05:09.7)
Cut off age.
(05:09.8 - 05:11.2)
Yes, cut off age.
(05:11.3 - 05:13.1)
Get off the bench after five years.
(05:13.2 - 05:14.4)
Put someone new.
(05:14.6 - 05:15.5)
Do something.
(05:15.7 - 05:16.9)
I just think that the way they
(05:17.0 - 05:19.3)
run government sometimes is very archaic.
(05:19.3 - 05:21.1)
But that's just my opinion.
(05:21.4 - 05:25.5)
So I also wanted to talk about hobbies. You ready?
(05:25.6 - 05:26.6)
I'm ready.
(05:26.6 - 05:52.8)
(Instrumental Music)
(05:52.8 - 05:56.8)
What are some of your favorite hobbies? Hobbies.
(05:56.9 - 05:57.4)
Hobbies.
(05:57.5 - 05:58.5)
I like going bowling.
(05:58.5 - 05:59.5)
I like bowling.
(05:59.7 - 06:02.2)
Another hobby of mine is driving.
(06:02.3 - 06:04.6)
I know you love to drive.
(06:04.7 - 06:06.4)
Why do you love to drive?
(06:06.4 - 06:10.1)
I don't know I think Driving is just peaceful and I don't know, just
(06:10.1 - 06:12.5)
being on the road, specifically on the highways.
(06:12.6 - 06:15.6)
It's nice, it's peaceful, it's relaxing.
(06:15.7 - 06:19.0)
Put some music on and just drive. Okay.
(06:19.1 - 06:22.0)
So I know exactly what you should do for this summer.
(06:22.1 - 06:23.3)
Are you ready? What's that?
(06:23.4 - 06:24.5)
A road trip?
(06:24.6 - 06:25.5)
Oh yeah. Where we going?
(06:26.1 - 06:29.2)
I don't know, maybe Florida since you love to drive.
(06:29.3 - 06:30.5)
That's a long drive.
(06:30.6 - 06:32.0)
Yeah, that's a long drive.
(06:32.1 - 06:33.5)
I haven't driven that long.
(06:33.7 - 06:35.4)
What's the longest you drove?
(06:35.9 - 06:37.9)
3 hours to upstate. Okay.
(06:38.0 - 06:40.7)
So we could probably push it to like five or
(06:40.7 - 06:44.3)
6 hours Floridas a bit more than that.
(06:44.4 - 06:46.8)
Okay, so I'll look up like a five or
(06:46.9 - 06:49.8)
six hour drive and then we'll drive that far.
(06:49.9 - 06:52.0)
I got you. AlRight.
(06:52.2 - 06:55.1)
Another hobby of mine is in my own spare time.
(06:55.2 - 06:56.8)
I do some karaoke.
(06:57.0 - 06:58.8)
I'm gonna let you in on a little secret. Y'all
(06:58.9 - 06:59.7)
He can't sing.
(06:59.8 - 07:01.7)
I can sing beautifully.
(07:01.8 - 07:02.9)
No, he cannot sing.
(07:03.0 - 07:04.3)
Don't let him lie to you like that.
(07:04.3 - 07:05.4)
He cannot sing.
(07:05.5 - 07:06.4)
Neither can I.
(07:06.4 - 07:07.9)
Karaoke is not my thing.
(07:08.0 - 07:10.0)
But I do love to go bowling.
(07:10.1 - 07:11.3)
I love bowling.
(07:11.4 - 07:13.6)
I have also gotten into
(07:13.8 - 07:16.4)
building those little Lego models. Okay.
(07:16.5 - 07:17.6)
I've showed you a few.
(07:17.7 - 07:20.0)
That is like my new favorite thing
(07:20.1 - 07:24.0)
to do and it is super relaxing. Love it.
(07:24.0 - 07:25.3)
Just a little tidbit.
(07:25.3 - 07:29.8)
That is great OT to work out your fingers. That's Good to know.
(07:29.9 - 07:31.7)
I'm telling you, when I finish doing
(07:31.7 - 07:33.9)
one, my fingers are like screaming.
(07:33.9 - 07:35.5)
But it's actually good exercise.
(07:35.6 - 07:36.6)
I like it.
(07:36.7 - 07:38.9)
They're screaming, yet you love it.
(07:39.1 - 07:40.0)
That's amazing.
(07:40.2 - 07:41.1)
I do.
(07:41.3 - 07:42.7)
It's relaxing.
(07:42.8 - 07:44.8)
I also picked up hand knitting. Okay
(07:45.3 - 07:47.0)
Yes, I love knitting.
(07:47.1 - 07:49.7)
It's actually relaxing after a hard day
(07:49.7 - 07:51.7)
at work, like seeing my creation.
(07:51.8 - 07:53.2)
So it's really good.
(07:53.3 - 07:56.9)
So hold on, you do knitting or crocheting
(07:56.9 - 07:59.2)
because they're both like the same exact thing.
(07:59.3 - 08:02.7)
No, so crochet is like a different kind of style.
(08:02.8 - 08:05.4)
I don't know how to explain it, but the
(08:05.5 - 08:07.4)
knitting that I do is call hand knitting.
(08:07.4 - 08:11.6)
So basically, the yarn comes with already premade loops,
(08:11.7 - 08:13.5)
and you have to learn how to do the
(08:13.6 - 08:16.6)
different stitches and link it in together.
(08:16.8 - 08:19.0)
And sometimes you can make blankets with it.
(08:19.0 - 08:20.1)
You can make pillows.
(08:20.2 - 08:22.1)
You can make sweaters.
(08:22.3 - 08:24.0)
Like, remember that one sweater I
(08:24.0 - 08:25.3)
had showed you for my birthday?
(08:25.3 - 08:26.6)
I think it was last year?
(08:26.7 - 08:27.8)
I made that sweater.
(08:27.9 - 08:29.3)
It was, like, black, and then
(08:29.3 - 08:31.0)
it had gray on the sleeves.
(08:31.1 - 08:33.0)
I made that entire sweater.
(08:33.0 - 08:34.3)
It took me a couple of hours.
(08:34.4 - 08:35.5)
I love that stuff.
(08:35.5 - 08:36.8)
It's like my thing.
(08:37.0 - 08:38.4)
Poetry is also my thing.
(08:38.4 - 08:40.3)
But you guys already knew that already because
(08:40.3 - 08:41.8)
you heard a few of my poems
(08:41.9 - 08:48.1)
But those are my things, and oh I'm a big, big, big video game fan.
(08:48.2 - 08:49.9)
I love video games. Yeah.
(08:50.1 - 08:53.1)
When I have nothing to do, that's what I like to do.
(08:53.2 - 08:54.7)
Video games. They calmed me down.
(08:54.8 - 08:56.1)
I'm like a little child inside.
(08:56.3 - 08:58.3)
Yes, I definitely love it.
(08:58.4 - 08:59.8)
I love Mortal Kombat.
(08:59.9 - 09:02.8)
I love all the old school PlayStation
(09:02.8 - 09:04.5)
games they came back out with again.
(09:04.6 - 09:06.1)
So Crash, Spyro
(09:06.1 - 09:08.5)
It reminds me of my childhood. I love it.
(09:08.6 - 09:10.8)
Yeah, I like games that when
(09:10.8 - 09:12.2)
you actually compete with each other.
(09:12.2 - 09:14.1)
Like right now, I'm competing against this
(09:14.2 - 09:16.2)
little kid on the game Subway Surfers.
(09:16.2 - 09:17.4)
So anybody out there?
(09:17.4 - 09:18.8)
I love playing Subway Surfers.
(09:18.9 - 09:20.8)
My top score right now is over a million.
(09:20.9 - 09:23.2)
You want to come against me, come forward.
(09:23.3 - 09:26.9)
Listen, I don't have good reflexes for Subway Surfer.
(09:27.0 - 09:28.8)
I could get up to a good score,
(09:28.8 - 09:31.5)
but after a certain point, it's over.
(09:31.6 - 09:33.9)
I'm trying to get me a PS Five, but
(09:33.9 - 09:35.7)
every time I look for it sold out.
(09:35.8 - 09:36.9)
Oh, forget it.
(09:37.0 - 09:38.7)
You're never going to get one of those.
(09:38.8 - 09:40.1)
Yeah, that's what it seems like.
(09:40.2 - 09:42.8)
They're sold out everywhere due to the pandemic.
(09:42.8 - 09:45.2)
They can't make enough of them, so you have
(09:45.2 - 09:47.2)
to scrounge around on the Internet for them.
(09:47.3 - 09:49.8)
So you can forget that for a while. Someday.
(09:49.9 - 09:53.2)
Someday you could put it on your wish list. Yeah, right.
(09:53.3 - 10:21.6)
(Instrumental Music)
(10:21.6 - 10:24.5)
All right, so you ready for some questions? I am ready.
(10:24.6 - 10:26.3)
Who's going to ask them, me or you?
(10:26.5 - 10:28.7)
We're going to ask each other. All right, fine.
(10:28.8 - 10:30.0)
So you go first.
(10:30.1 - 10:33.1)
(Delayed beat)
(10:33.3 - 10:33.8)
All right.
(10:33.9 - 10:35.2)
Question number one.
(10:35.7 - 10:38.1)
What is the most desirable trait
(10:38.1 - 10:39.7)
that another person can have?
(10:39.8 - 10:41.1)
Oh, that's a tough one.
(10:41.2 - 10:42.9)
That is a tough one.
(10:43.2 - 10:44.8)
I would say I'm stuck between
(10:44.8 - 10:48.1)
two intelligence and being funny.
(10:48.2 - 10:50.1)
Okay, that's a good answer.
(10:50.2 - 10:52.1)
I would only say that because
(10:52.8 - 10:54.4)
sometimes I need to laugh.
(10:54.4 - 10:57.7)
And secondly, I like having good conversations.
(10:58.1 - 11:01.2)
Yeah, someone that could carry a conversation. Yeah.
(11:01.2 - 11:02.1)
What about for you?
(11:02.2 - 11:03.8)
Yeah, definitely intelligence.
(11:03.9 - 11:07.5)
Their personality has to be really good, caring.
(11:07.6 - 11:09.4)
I enjoy someone that knows how to carry
(11:09.4 - 11:12.6)
a conversation that doesn't have those awkward silences.
(11:12.7 - 11:13.1)
Right?
(11:13.2 - 11:15.4)
The awkward silences are the worst.
(11:15.5 - 11:16.5)
Those are the worst.
(11:16.7 - 11:19.9)
It's like, how am I supposed to fill this space?
(11:20.0 - 11:21.9)
What am I supposed to say?
(11:22.1 - 11:24.0)
They're definitely the worst.
(11:24.1 - 11:26.4)
Okay, are you ready for my question? I'm ready.
(11:26.5 - 11:31.0)
Would you rather be a worried genius or Joyous simpleton?
(11:31.1 - 11:32.2)
I would have to go with
(11:32.3 - 11:35.8)
Joyous simpleton because I enjoy life.
(11:36.6 - 11:37.7)
I like things simple.
(11:37.8 - 11:41.0)
I don't like everything complicated and I
(11:41.0 - 11:42.6)
don't know, I just like being happy
(11:42.7 - 11:45.4)
and enjoying life to the fullest. Okay.
(11:45.4 - 11:47.6)
I think I would have to go with Joyous
(11:47.6 - 11:51.6)
simpleton just because that means you're naive to
(11:51.6 - 11:54.6)
everything and you have this innocence about the world.
(11:54.7 - 11:56.6)
That's what I loved about being a kid.
(11:56.7 - 11:58.3)
You had an innocence.
(11:58.3 - 12:01.7)
You didn't know how hard life would be at the time.
(12:01.8 - 12:05.4)
It was just all about having fun and enjoying life. Yes.
(12:05.5 - 12:06.6)
I know a lot of kids wish
(12:06.6 - 12:10.5)
they were adults, stay kids, kids definitely, because
(12:10.6 - 12:13.1)
a manual doesn't come with adulthood.
(12:13.3 - 12:16.3)
And if someone would have said, you have to go through
(12:16.4 - 12:18.6)
this, this, and this when you become an adult, I would
(12:18.7 - 12:22.1)
say, okay, how can I stay a kid forever? Exactly.
(12:22.3 - 12:25.9)
(Stair climbing sound)
(12:25.9 - 12:28.1)
So I have a question. Okay, go.
(12:28.1 - 12:30.6)
What is the weirdest thing you've ever ate?
(12:31.2 - 12:32.1)
See, that's hard.
(12:32.1 - 12:33.8)
Because I'm a picky eater, I'll
(12:33.8 - 12:35.2)
switch the question up a bit.
(12:35.3 - 12:38.9)
The weirdest thing people probably wouldn't think that I
(12:38.9 - 12:42.8)
would eat would be calamari, which is squid. Okay.
(12:42.9 - 12:44.9)
I love calamari.
(12:45.0 - 12:46.0)
Is that slimy?
(12:46.0 - 12:47.0)
It's not slimy.
(12:47.0 - 12:48.0)
It's just chewy oooo
(12:49.1 - 12:51.6)
I like it fried, though. Very nice. Very nice.
(12:51.7 - 12:53.5)
Have you tried it? I have not.
(12:53.6 - 12:56.9)
I eat the basic seafood, like shrimp, lobster tail.
(12:56.9 - 12:57.8)
That's about it.
(12:57.9 - 13:00.1)
Oh, no, you have to come over to my side.
(13:00.2 - 13:02.6)
It's very comfortable over here.
(13:04.8 - 13:05.6)
mmmmm, i'm okay, I'm okay.
(13:05.7 - 13:07.6)
What's the weirdest thing you ever ate?
(13:07.7 - 13:13.9)
All right, so back in like, 2008, or 7, I was in the hospital
(13:14.0 - 13:17.0)
and the nurses were having a party and I wanted to get
(13:17.0 - 13:19.6)
into the party, and it looked like they had chicken.
(13:19.6 - 13:22.4)
So I asked the nurse, slide me a slice of chicken.
(13:22.5 - 13:23.2)
So they did.
(13:23.2 - 13:25.0)
They put it in my room and I was hyped.
(13:25.1 - 13:27.7)
And when I took a bite that, that wasn't chicken.
(13:27.9 - 13:29.3)
That was not chicken.
(13:29.4 - 13:30.5)
What was it?
(13:30.7 - 13:33.8)
Ended up being frog legs. What?
(13:34.4 - 13:38.4)
Yeah, it looked like chicken, but it was, it was disgusting.
(13:38.5 - 13:40.0)
I can never forget that day and
(13:40.0 - 13:41.5)
I would never eat it again.
(13:41.6 - 13:42.8)
What did it taste like?
(13:42.9 - 13:44.8)
Oh, my gosh. Horrible.
(13:45.0 - 13:47.2)
It was meaty, but bitter.
(13:47.2 - 13:50.1)
I don't know how anybody else at that party ate it.
(13:50.3 - 13:51.0)
Interesting.
(13:51.8 - 13:52.8)
I'm not gonna say.
(13:52.9 - 13:53.9)
I will try it.
(13:54.0 - 13:55.1)
I don't think you should.
(13:55.2 - 13:57.3)
That's just not my cup of tea. But okay
(13:58.2 - 13:59.7)
All right, I'm going to ask you a
(13:59.7 - 14:02.0)
question that's going to make you think. Are you ready?
(14:02.1 - 14:03.5)
I'm ready. All right.
(14:03.5 - 14:05.9)
Are you holding on to something that you
(14:06.0 - 14:08.7)
think you need to let go of? Wow.
(14:08.8 - 14:11.4)
That is, that is difficult. I don't know.
(14:11.4 - 14:13.1)
Would having, like, that inner child
(14:13.2 - 14:14.9)
be something holding on to?
(14:15.0 - 14:16.4)
Yeah, but I don't think you should
(14:16.5 - 14:18.3)
let go of your inner child.
(14:18.4 - 14:21.2)
I've seen a lot of adults, they should take adulthood
(14:21.3 - 14:23.2)
seriously, and they don't know how to have fun.
(14:23.3 - 14:23.9)
That's true.
(14:23.9 - 14:26.3)
But I don't think you should let go of your inner child.
(14:26.4 - 14:30.8)
I think that's, like, the best part. Yeah. I don't know.
(14:31.0 - 14:32.0)
What about you?
(14:32.1 - 14:37.6)
I think I would have to say maybe. I don't know.
(14:37.7 - 14:41.3)
It would have to be for me, the fact of I
(14:41.3 - 14:44.5)
always have to prove myself, but I feel like I always
(14:44.6 - 14:49.4)
have to prove myself just because being in a wheelchair, people
(14:49.6 - 14:53.0)
judge you or judge your skills based off of you being
(14:53.1 - 14:55.2)
in a chair and judge your intellect.
(14:55.3 - 14:57.4)
So I always feel like I have to put my best
(14:57.5 - 15:00.8)
foot forward so people don't judge me based on my chair.
(15:00.9 - 15:02.6)
Okay, and you feel like that's
(15:02.6 - 15:03.8)
something you have to let go?
(15:04.0 - 15:05.5)
In a way, yeah
(15:05.6 - 15:09.5)
But I feel like it also motivates me, too.
(15:09.6 - 15:11.3)
Yeah, that's what I think.
(15:11.4 - 15:15.3)
Like, us being disabled, people automatically have their
(15:15.4 - 15:17.5)
own expectations of us, and I don't know,
(15:17.5 - 15:20.2)
that gives us strength to move past those
(15:20.2 - 15:22.1)
expectations and prove them wrong.
(15:22.2 - 15:25.2)
Yeah, but I'm always the type that wants to
(15:25.2 - 15:28.1)
do it all the time, so I think I
(15:28.1 - 15:30.6)
just have to maybe find a balance. Maybe.
(15:30.8 - 15:32.5)
The worst movie you ever seen.
(15:32.6 - 15:35.0)
Worst movie I've ever seen was when we
(15:35.0 - 15:37.6)
went to the movie theaters one time and
(15:37.7 - 15:40.5)
you chose to watch The Ridiculous Eight.
(15:40.6 - 15:43.8)
No, that movie was just horrible.
(15:43.9 - 15:46.6)
First of all, it was called The Hateful Eight.
(15:46.7 - 15:48.5)
Second of all, are you ever going
(15:48.5 - 15:50.5)
to let me live that moment down?
(15:50.5 - 15:52.2)
No, Not at all. Please.
(15:52.3 - 15:57.6)
It was one movie out of like the 1 millionth that we've seen.
(15:57.8 - 15:58.7)
One movie.
(15:58.8 - 15:59.9)
I mean, he's never going to
(15:59.9 - 16:01.4)
let me live this moment down.
(16:01.5 - 16:03.1)
One movie sucked.
(16:03.1 - 16:04.8)
Okay, it was really bad.
(16:04.9 - 16:06.7)
See I couldn't even remember the name.
(16:06.8 - 16:09.0)
It was really, really bad. Horrible.
(16:09.2 - 16:10.7)
It took forever to finish.
(16:10.8 - 16:12.9)
But you're never going to let me live that moment.
(16:13.0 - 16:14.8)
Absolutely not. Absolutely not.
(16:14.9 - 16:15.8)
And That was years ago.
(16:15.9 - 16:18.2)
choose one bad movie, and you're banned from
(16:18.3 - 16:20.2)
life for picking the rest of the movies.
(16:20.3 - 16:23.3)
Yeah, that's why I have to you know pick the movies from now on.
(16:23.4 - 16:27.1)
No, see, we pick the movies together, but I
(16:27.2 - 16:31.8)
have you know the majority say no, no you do not.
(16:32.2 - 16:35.5)
We agree on the movie cuz I'm not
(16:35.5 - 16:39.5)
going to watch something that I find boring. It's like
(16:39.5 - 16:42.1)
49%, 51%.
(16:42.2 - 16:45.1)
Like, majority state here. Really? Yeah.
(16:45.2 - 16:48.1)
Okay, that is not how it goes.
(16:48.2 - 16:49.2)
I promise you guys.
(16:49.2 - 16:50.4)
That is not how it goes.
(16:50.5 - 16:52.4)
What is your favorite food?
(16:52.5 - 16:53.6)
Oh, that's easy.
(16:53.7 - 16:56.9)
My favorite food has always been lasagna. Lasagna?
(16:57.8 - 16:59.4)
I love lasagna.
(16:59.5 - 17:01.0)
I hate lasagna.
(17:01.1 - 17:02.6)
Seafood is my favorite.
(17:02.6 - 17:03.6)
I love seafood.
(17:03.7 - 17:05.4)
Oh, I bet you I can tell
(17:05.5 - 17:07.1)
you your favorite movie of all time.
(17:07.2 - 17:09.3)
I bet you you can't. I can. What's that?
(17:09.4 - 17:11.6)
What's that Scarface? Yes.
(17:11.8 - 17:13.1)
I'm a very big Scarface. fan
(17:13.1 - 17:14.1)
You love Scarface?
(17:14.2 - 17:15.2)
I love Scarface.
(17:15.3 - 17:17.1)
What is my favorite movie?
(17:17.2 - 17:18.4)
Putting me on the spot. Yes
(17:18.5 - 17:19.8)
I'm quizzing you now.
(17:19.9 - 17:21.6)
What is my favorite movie?
(17:21.6 - 17:23.8)
I'm putting this friendship to the test.
(17:24.0 - 17:25.9)
Iight Imma say a movie that I know a lot of
(17:25.9 - 17:30.1)
women like, but I personally don't think I've ever watched it,
(17:30.2 - 17:32.7)
but I know a lot of women like The Notebook.
(17:33.2 - 17:35.4)
That is my favorite movie.
(17:35.5 - 17:36.7)
Okay, good.
(17:36.8 - 17:39.5)
I love the whole storyline.
(17:39.6 - 17:41.5)
That is one of my favorites. I need to watch it.
(17:41.5 - 17:43.0)
I watched bits and pieces of it.
(17:43.1 - 17:44.3)
It's a great movie.
(17:44.3 - 17:47.8)
My second favorite is, like, love and basketball. Okay.
(17:48.0 - 17:49.5)
Love that movie.
(17:49.7 - 17:51.0)
Favorite sport?
(17:51.2 - 17:53.6)
Well, we actually have the same favorite sport.
(17:53.6 - 17:55.8)
I can tell you yours. Football. Yeah.
(17:56.0 - 17:57.4)
That's the only sport I like,
(17:57.4 - 17:58.9)
and we're both Giants fans.
(17:59.0 - 18:01.0)
What is my other favorite sport?
(18:01.1 - 18:02.0)
Basketball.
(18:02.4 - 18:03.6)
Who's my favorite team?
(18:03.6 - 18:04.9)
That I do not know.
(18:05.4 - 18:07.7)
You don't remember my favorite team? What?
(18:07.8 - 18:09.6)
Miami Heat. Yeah.
(18:09.6 - 18:13.1)
Okay cool, see, see you do remember, Okay so I know
(18:13.1 - 18:15.3)
(Stair climbing sound)
(18:15.3 - 18:17.1)
What is one of the most
(18:17.1 - 18:18.7)
embarrassing moments in your life?
(18:19.7 - 18:22.7)
I don't think I have an embarrassing moment, because I
(18:22.7 - 18:25.2)
look at every moment as, like, a teachable moment.
(18:25.4 - 18:27.9)
Okay, what is your most embarrassing moment?
(18:28.1 - 18:30.7)
(Story time sound effect)
(18:30.8 - 18:34.8)
The last time I went to church, so I guess
(18:34.8 - 18:37.9)
they were praying or something, and they wanted me
(18:37.9 - 18:41.3)
to stand, and everybody's praying with their eyes closed,
(18:41.3 - 18:44.3)
and head down, and my mom's holding me up,
(18:44.3 - 18:46.4)
like, standing, and my pants fall.
(18:46.5 - 18:48.0)
I'm trying to get her attention, mom
(18:48.2 - 18:49.3)
My pants are down.
(18:49.5 - 18:51.5)
I'm not trying to get everybody else's attention.
(18:51.5 - 18:53.7)
So good enough, I was able to catch her
(18:53.7 - 18:56.2)
attention, and she pulled my pants back up.
(18:56.2 - 18:59.0)
And, yeah, that was the last time I went to church.
(18:59.1 - 19:02.1)
(Laughing sound effect)
(19:02.3 - 19:30.8)
(Instrumental Music)
(19:30.8 - 19:33.8)
That was definitely embarrassing. Yeah.
(19:33.9 - 19:35.6)
I have a question for you. All right.
(19:35.7 - 19:37.8)
What are your biggest pet peeves?
(19:39.0 - 19:43.1)
One of them would have to be like, when I
(19:43.1 - 19:47.3)
text someone and they don't respond, they respond days later.
(19:47.4 - 19:49.9)
He's laughing right now, guys, because he
(19:50.0 - 19:52.6)
does this to me all the time.
(19:52.8 - 19:54.1)
That's my M.o.
(19:54.3 - 19:58.6)
He does this to me all the time. So I have learned
(19:58.6 - 20:02.4)
It's not just you, it's everybody. Whatever.
(20:02.6 - 20:06.1)
So I have learned that if it's very important and
(20:06.2 - 20:09.0)
I want to reach him, I have to text him,
(20:09.1 - 20:10.9)
and I also have to send it through.
(20:10.9 - 20:13.0)
WhatsApp if I want a response?
(20:13.0 - 20:15.5)
Then he'll give me one. Yeah.
(20:16.2 - 20:19.9)
For years, I've been very bad at texting on time.
(20:20.0 - 20:22.7)
No, it's not the fact that you don't text on time.
(20:22.8 - 20:29.8)
You take days, yes, hours, days, not hours, daysss
(20:29.9 - 20:32.7)
I can do hours because you know everybody is busy.
(20:32.9 - 20:35.4)
Everybody has work, everybody has something,
(20:35.6 - 20:36.4)
so I can do it.
(20:36.4 - 20:39.1)
If you don't text back, he takes days.
(20:39.2 - 20:40.5)
Don't let him lie to you.
(20:40.6 - 20:42.5)
He takes days.
(20:42.6 - 20:46.0)
I don't know about days, days, days, but yes, I've
(20:46.0 - 20:48.1)
been very bad at that for years now.
(20:48.2 - 20:50.5)
What is your biggest pet peeve?
(20:50.9 - 20:52.7)
Biggest pet peeve?
(20:53.1 - 20:56.8)
I would say I don't know anything that has to do with like cigarettes.
(20:56.8 - 20:58.1)
I hate it.
(20:58.4 - 20:59.3)
That's interesting.
(20:59.4 - 21:02.7)
And also people that chew with their mouth open.
(21:02.9 - 21:05.2)
That annoys me so much.
(21:05.4 - 21:07.2)
That is kind of cringy. Yeah.
(21:07.2 - 21:09.8)
Something you can't live without. What is it?
(21:09.9 - 21:11.7)
I would say a hat. For you?
(21:11.8 - 21:13.1)
Yeah, probably a hat.
(21:13.2 - 21:15.0)
Everywhere I go, I have some type of hat.
(21:15.1 - 21:16.4)
Yeah, that's a good one.
(21:16.5 - 21:19.9)
A hat or a hoodie of some sort. Yeah.
(21:20.3 - 21:22.6)
I always have something on my head. Let's see.
(21:22.6 - 21:24.6)
What's one thing I can't live without.
(21:24.7 - 21:27.4)
I would say, and you guys are going to think
(21:27.4 - 21:30.8)
that it's very cliche, but I have my reasons.
(21:30.9 - 21:33.9)
I would say I can't live without my phone.
(21:34.1 - 21:36.7)
Yeah, that's, that's a very common one.
(21:36.7 - 21:39.5)
I think that's the majority of the world.
(21:39.6 - 21:42.5)
I can't live without my phone because
(21:42.7 - 21:44.3)
I do everything on my phone.
(21:44.4 - 21:45.7)
Okay, last one.
(21:45.8 - 21:49.3)
If you were stranded on a desert island and you
(21:49.4 - 21:53.5)
can only have two things, what would it be? Two things?
(21:53.6 - 21:55.7)
It would be my phone.
(21:55.8 - 21:59.4)
And one more thing, guys, what am I taking
(21:59.4 - 22:02.0)
on a desert island with me if I'm stranded?
(22:02.1 - 22:05.5)
I'd say a knife to go hunting for animals. I need food.
(22:05.6 - 22:06.2)
Right.
(22:06.3 - 22:07.5)
ooooo That's resourceful.
(22:07.5 - 22:10.1)
I was not thinking that at all. Okay.
(22:10.2 - 22:12.2)
I would say I would have to bring
(22:12.4 - 22:14.8)
flairs so I can ask for help.
(22:14.8 - 22:16.4)
And I was gonna say my phone,
(22:16.4 - 22:18.7)
but what if they don't have service? Yeah.
(22:18.8 - 22:20.2)
Now that I think about it, what
(22:20.3 - 22:22.9)
good is my phone without a charger? Exactly.
(22:23.0 - 22:25.9)
And where am I going to plug the charger? Exactly? Yeah.
(22:26.0 - 22:27.1)
Phones. Useless, guys.
(22:27.2 - 22:31.0)
So I would say my second thing would be
(22:31.6 - 22:33.7)
a fishing net so I could catch fish.
(22:33.8 - 22:35.1)
My dad fishes.
(22:35.2 - 22:37.6)
So I'm hoping that fishing is just kind of in
(22:37.7 - 22:39.8)
my blood, even though I don't like to do it.
(22:39.9 - 22:41.2)
That's one of my things.
(22:41.3 - 22:43.8)
But since my dad fishes, I was kind of thinking that's,
(22:43.9 - 22:48.1)
like one of the traits, just built in, built in and it just comes
(22:48.2 - 22:51.5)
out and it's like, I could catch some fish. Nice. Nice. I mean
(22:51.5 - 22:54.1)
I do not like fish, but I guess if I'm
(22:54.1 - 22:57.1)
stranded online and I was starving, I do the same.
(22:57.2 - 22:57.7)
Right?
(22:57.9 - 23:00.0)
All right, any more last questions
(23:00.1 - 23:01.9)
before we close it out?
(23:02.0 - 23:04.4)
I do not have any other questions, but
(23:04.5 - 23:06.1)
if anyone is listening to this and you
(23:06.2 - 23:08.3)
have questions for us, just please comment.
(23:08.4 - 23:12.1)
Yeah, and if you have like some like, would you rather that
(23:12.2 - 23:15.6)
you want us to answer any more interesting questions that
(23:15.7 - 23:19.1)
we can ponder over in the next season? Hint, Hint
(23:19.1 - 23:20.5)
So I just dropped a hint.
(23:20.6 - 23:25.5)
